I had a wonderful experience working with Raining Fire. Patrick was very attentive and always responded quickly to my questions or changes that need to be made.

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) is an American multinational corporation based in Houston, Texas. It is a leading worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations, oilfield services, and supply chain integration services to the upstream oil and gas industry. We completely redesigned and developed the NOV Ameron Poles website from the ground up with the NOV Branded user interface and an intuitive user experience.
NOV purchased Ameron International a few years back and did not want to lose the Ameron Poles identity due to the reputation and clientele. After a slow branding transition, NOV decided it was time to synchronize the Pole Division with the rest if the NOV brand.
NOV needed to keep the product information easy to access while aligning the brand colors, fonts and layout to the rest of their online presence. New information and products required a new site structure. The site also had to be managed 'in-house' requiring us to build an interface that would allow non-technical users the ability to manage all the content. For mobile users, the site had to be mobile optimized (responsive).
Working with Lauren, we leveraged WordPress to deliver a simple content management system for the NOV Ameron Poles team. We designed the site to allow easy site management and provided a library of easy to follow video tutorials. The design was based on the Corporate Brand Design Standards and flows seamlessly with the corporate site.
With the new design, the site traffic has increased by 16%, *Page Views Increased 44% and most importantly the *Bounce Rate dropped by a massive 80%!
Page Views are the number of pages viewed by individual visitors.
Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that come to the site and leave without viewing any additional pages.
